All About Jobs, 1: A Note to You

Our intent with this new series, All About Jobs, is to engage two groups, one being people in the investment community who get their data on jobs from secondary sources, often influenced by the authors’ own opinions, the other being those of you who believe you have no interest in this kind of data, or think you can’t understand it. It’s important to understand what these snippets show, so you can get around the hype and make your own decisions about the low unemployment rate, or the high jobs opening rate, for example. These are the ABCs of the jobs data, and they piece together to show the condition of the U.S. job market.
